First Team Meeting

I am excited that I will be hosting the first team meeting this weekend. There is a lot to discuss, and it will feel good to have an opportunity to talk about all the things that keep me awake at night.

I was also very fortunate to get a generous donation from my father-in-law, which has enabled me to buy some much needed equipment. So the past two days I have been ordering up all kinds of fun stuff. Here is the list so far:

• Steering wheel and quick release hub
• 5-point safety harness
• roll cage padding
• window net and mount
• battery disconnect kit
• Hella 500 driving lights (1 pair)
• Rear view mirror
• 5 gallon fuel jug

 

So at this point the list of things I need is getting small!

• fire extinguisher and quick release mount
• driver racing suit and helmet
• brake pads and rotors
• windshield
• paint
• tires

There will certainly be other little odds and ends, but those are the main things. Its really starting to come together!!

Also, at this point, the car entry fee, and driver fees for myself and my Dad are all taken care of. Awesome!
